Ex-inmate Larry Levine claims that the music mogul is getting ‘special privileges’ while he’s at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York as he awaits trial
P.Diddy might be being detained in a tough jail, but he’s reportedly receiving some treatment that’s making his stay slightly more comfortable.
Ex-inmate Larry Levine claims that the music mogul is getting “special privileges” while he’s at Metropolitan Detention Center. P.Diddy is being held there without bail as he awaits his sex trafficking and racketeering trial. Diddy has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
“My information from my source is that they’re letting him shower almost every day,” Larry revealed on the News Nation show Banfield.
“It could cause some problems with other inmates as far as jealousy and special privileges. … Apparently, some of the staff is sneaking food into him,” Larry added. We have reached out to Diddy’s reps, but have yet to hear back from them. Diddy’s been at MDC following his arrest in Manhattan, New York, on September 16 after he was hit with multiple sexual assault lawsuits and Homeland Security raided two of his homes.

According to the Daily Beast, the jail facility is “plagued by chronic understaffing, constant lockdowns, outbreaks of violence, delayed access to medical care, and a rash of suicides and death.”
Although Diddy’s $50 million bail package he proposed for release was denied twice, he seems to hope the third time will be the charm. On Monday, Diddy’s attorneys filed a notice that appealed a federal court’s ruling that denied him bail two times. However, the two-page folding didn’t have any specified arguments.
The Let’s Get It rapper’s latest legal move strives to overturn a ruling from U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter. Judge Carter discovered that Diddy presents a safety risk to the community and case witnesses.
One source close to Diddy’s situation revealed to The Mirror the details of his latest court filing.
“Today, a notice of appeal was filed in the second circuit regarding Mr. Combs’ detention. This is a standard notice to the court and the actual appeal brief will be filed soon,” the insider told our news outlet. The source also said that Diddy is revamping his legal defense, putting together a “dream team” for his criminal trial.
“Sean Combs is building his dream legal defense team, adding Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro to the trial team,” the source explained. “Tony is one of the finest trial lawyers in the country. Alexandra is hands-down the best appellate lawyer practicing today.” Alexandra is of no relation to the legendary lawyer Robert Shapiro, best known for working a part of the defense dream team in the O.J. Simpson murder case.
