Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) made fans cringe.
On the Monday, September 30 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter was trying to convince Hope to model in lingerie for her mother’s bedroom line. He believed that the crossover could help her line, Hope for the Future, do well. Hope was flattered and then realized that this meant Carter was thinking of her in lingerie.
The two held a stare and laughed. Carter admitted that he was thinking of her in lingerie but because that it could be “good for the business.” Hope then realized that the last time she was seen in underwear was Thomas and it was nice that “someone was thinking” of her in underwear.

The Bold and the Beautiful viewers cringed over their “inappropriate” conversation at Forrester Creations. One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “#BoldandBeautiful Not this inappropriate conversation in the office with Hope and Carter.” Another person wrote: “It is something coming from Carter wanted to see Hope in lingerie and they’re laughing about it #BoldandBeautiful.”
However, others were here for it. One user wrote: “Hope and Carter having an “inside joke” about lingerie with Eric in the room. Somehow it’s wholesome and not ick. This dynamic is simply working. Carter and Hope then proceeded to talk about their previous relationships and office romances. Hope dated Thomas, who took their son and left to Paris, and Carter dated Quinn, who decided to cut things off after he was ready to take the next step. Quinn was married to Eric Forrester at the time she and Carter got together.
Funnily enough, Eric walked in and interrupted the conversation. Carter emphasized how office romances were a “bad idea” and Hope agreed how hooking up with her lead designer could cause issues. As much as they tried to convince themselves that this could be bad, they shared a look that gave viewers at home an idea that a romance will come.
