A young male accuser has claimed that he quit the music industry due to Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs as he came forward in a new sexual abuse lawsuit.
The disgraced rapper, who was arrested and is facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering which he has plead not guilty to and has denied any wrongdoing, has been hit with new allegations on Tuesday, October 1. In the upcoming lawsuit 120 victims, including both men and women aged from nine to 38 years old, claimed that Diddy sexually assaulted them.
And now, one of the young male accusers claims that due to the alleged abuse, he preemptively quit his dreams of making it in the music industry. This comes as the accuser and his friends previously went to Diddy, who was an established record executive, in hopes of securing a record deal and paving a future for themselves.
During a livestream press conference held in Houston, Texas, attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the man, shared the aspiring artists’ claims. He said: “I’m gonna give you a quote from a very young man, who told us over the phone about his experience and all the things that happened to him he says allegedly at the hand of Sean Diddy Combs and his friends in an effort to try to sign a record deal.”

He continued: “This is what he was told he’d have to do. His quote is, ‘Had he not been in power, I feel like I could’ve been something great. I quit the industry because of what Sean Combs did to me.'”
Buzbee also mentioned that there are more people who will be named in the upcoming lawsuits, but they wouldn’t be revealed at this moment in time. While he did not explicitly state who is involved, he claimed that the public will be “shocked” by the individuals’ identities who he claims are “household names.” Buzbee urged: “These people who know who they are should come forward. You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever.”
Following the news conference, Combs’ attorney Erica Wolff shared in a statement that the performer “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”
She continued: “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
