Ashton Kutcher has been under fire recently for being friends with disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after the latter was arrested for various crimes
Ashton Kutcher is still planning to make a public appearance at the end of this month after he came under fire for his friendship with P Diddy.
The That 70s Show star is reportedly starting to worry about his connection to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently arrested on charges ranging from sex trafficking to racketeering. Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied any wrongdoings.
But even though Ashton thinks Diddy might “betray” him, he’s not hiding in the shadows. The Punk’d star is set to appear at a tech summit at the end of the month.
From October 28 to 30, the TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 will take place in San Francisco. Ashton will be in attendance as he’s a co-founder of Sound Ventures, an Artificial Intelligence venture firm.

The company’s other co-founder Guy Oseary and managing partner Effie Epstein are also going to be in attendance at the event. TechCrunch claims on its website that over 10,00 startup and VC leaders along with more than 250 industry experts will attend and host over 200 sessions over the three days.
Ashton has stayed silent on the recent arrest of Diddy, but sources claim that the actor is worried about what Diddy might say to save himself. An insider told the Daily Mail that Diddy “could say anything, do anything or turn on anyone” so he doesn’t go to jail.
“Ashton absolutely regrets his friendship with Diddy considering what has happened,” the source added. “He feels lied to, betrayed, taken for granted and manipulated.”
Diddy and Ashton have spoken highly of each other throughout the past 20 years. Ashton has also been a guest at Diddy’s infamous White Party, with photos of the two partying together resurfacing after Diddy’s arrest.
This isn’t the first time Ashton has been under fire for his friends. The star previously supported his That 70s Show co-star Danny Masterson when he was on trial for rape.
Ashton and his wife Mila Kunis wrote letters of support for Danny. The couple issued an apology video after the backlash and Ashton stepped down from his role as chair of his anti-child sex abuse organization.
