Fans of the 2000s TV show have been rewatching the series and noticed a wild quote about P Diddy, which has left viewers in complete shock
Fans of the cult-favorite 2000s TV series Supernatural are reeling from a resurfaced quip about P Diddy.
Devotees of the magical WB/CW series have been binge-watching old episodes and stumbled upon a particularly outrageous comment about Diddy, leaving audiences stunned. In the 2010 episode titled “Like A Virgin” protagonists Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles deliver a zinger referencing the hip-hop mogul while on the hunt for a group of vanished teenage girls.
Oddly enough, the episode zeroes in on the fact that all the missing teens are virgins. As the Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, delve into the mystery, they’re informed by a local that the suspect resembles a “large bat.”
The plot thickens when they deduce that the perpetrator targets virgins after snatching a girl’s gold purity ring, prompting Sam to question: “So what kind of thing likes virgins and gold?”
Without skipping a beat, Dean retorts: “P Diddy,” which is followed by Sam’s jab: “You know, it’s comforting. I die for a year, come back and you’re still not funny,” reports the Daily Star.
The show’s fans have taken their astonishment to social media, sparking a flurry of reactions.
One viewer exclaimed on X, formerly known as Twitter: “No way Supernatural made a Diddy joke in season 6, it was 15 years ago, the industry really knew something,” while another commented: “Damn Supernatural. They were calling out P Diddy back then too?”
