Joe Jonas has become the latest celebrity to denounce Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs as the rapper awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

The Jonas Brothers singer, 35, has removed a reference to Diddy from his band DNCE’s 2015 song Cake By The Ocean. Joe made the subtle change during a concert at the LDLC Arena in Paris, France, on Saturday.

A video from the show has been circulating on social media, with fans quickly noticing the changed lyric. In the original song, Joe said: “Walk for me, baby / I’ll be Diddy, you’ll be Naomi,” referencing rumors Diddy dated supermodel Naomi Campbell in the early 2000s.

In the updated version, Joe simply said: “Walk for me, baby / I’ll be watching you be Naomi.” Fans have been praising the move on social media, with one person writing on X: “We won.”

Another added: “They had to change that line, Diddy and Naomy,” while a third person commented: “Well like finally he is not naming that s— of a man, makes me feel some relief you know.”

The lyric change came just days before attorney Tony Buzbee said Diddy is facing the possibility of new lawsuits. He revealed in a press conference on Tuesday that 120 people are planning to sue Diddy for alleged exploitation and sexual abuse.

Following the press conference, Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff slammed the allegations as “categorically false”. In a statement, she said: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

She continued: “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.” Of the 120 individuals preparing to sue Diddy, 25 were minors at the time of the alleged abuse.

Buzbee said he plans to file lawsuits against Diddy over the next 30 days. The attorney said the lawsuits come from both men and women who were aged between nine and 38 when the alleged incidents took place.
