Controversial Kim Porter book removed from Amazon after P Diddy’s children speak out.Vuong

Amazon confirmed it had removed a self-published memoir from its site that claimed to be written by Kim Porter, the late model and actor who was in a relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Amazon has taken drastic action regarding a recently released contentious memoir about the late model Kim Porter.

The e-commerce giant confirmed the removal of the explosive book from its platform, which narrates the story of an abusive relationship between the deceased actress and model Kim Porter and her long-term partner Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The couple’s children denounced the 59-page book as pure fiction after it became an Amazon bestseller last month.

The book is named Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for Justice, from the Other Side. After the shocking discovery, an Amazon representative stated: “We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher. The book is not currently available for sale in our store.”

Todd Christopher Guzze, who uses the alias Chris Todd, is the independent publisher of the book. He identifies himself as an “investigative producer, author and journalist”. Last month, Todd told The Associated Press that sources “very close to Kim and Sean Combs” supplied him with a “flash drive, documents and tapes” from Kim that he assembled to create the memoir.

Todd, who published the title under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood, did not comment on the removal from Amazon when reached by the AP.

The book was self-published on Amazon on September 6 – but sales soared following the arrest of Kim’s former boyfriend Sean Combs. Bombshell claims have been made about the late model’s relationships with ex Combs and ex-husband Al B. Sure!, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III, in the book.

According to Todd, two individuals allegedly close to Combs and Kim approached him about the book, claiming to have the late actress and model’s hard drive, which he didn’t question. He stated: “They said they had her flash drive. I didn’t ask too many questions about how they got it [or] where did it come from.”

The book’s author believes the memoir is accurate but didn’t specify how or whether he verified or fact-checked the allegations. He claimed that after contacting the representatives of the celebrities named in the book, their teams either “ignored him” or told him to “kick rocks.”

Todd told Rolling Stone: “If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But it’s real enough to me. Sometimes you have to just put it out there.”

Kim’s ex-husband has threatened to take legal action against those involved in the book, which he has dismissed as a “fake” posthumous memoir. Al B. Sure! slammed the memoir on Instagram, saying: “I am writing this post to formally request an investigation into an entire group of individuals who worked at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter including the publicists who assisted drafting this.”

In a fiery follow-up post, Al B. Sure! did not hold back and threatened to take those responsible to court: “There will be [a] significant suit headed right for the heads of the responsible parties who dragged my name into this bulls—t.”

Following Kim’s heartbreaking death in 2018 at the tender age of 47 from pneumonia complications, her family including Quincy Brown, 33, (Sure!’s son, later adopted by Combs), Christian Combs as well as her twins Jessie and D’Lila, both come forward with a rejection of any claims regarding a posthumously released book.

They have collectively declared in a public statement: “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

Moreover, Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff has spoken out to People magazine. She said: “The Kim Porter ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy. Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better. Unlike the fabrications in his sickening ‘memoir,’ it is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.”
