Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum’s relationship continues to be a struggle as the actress is finding trust to be difficult after the singer’s infidelity and new fatherhood
Follow Dave Grohl’s announcement of an out-of-wedlock child, his wife, Jordyn Blum, is still processing.
The Foo Fighters member revealed online that he fathered a child with another woman, effectively cheating on Jordyn. In an Instagram statement, Dave explained: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
Jordyn, in response, has kept quiet publicly about how she’s processing the news. However, sources close to her say it’s been a challenge.
An insider told People that Jordyn is putting her focus on herself and her daughters who she shares with Dave. They added: “It’s been rough for her. Her mind is not on her marriage though. She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring. She’s leaning on a group of girlfriends. She feels lucky to be surrounded by love and support.”

A different source claimed that Jordyn was “shocked” when she found out, but that those close to her offered support. Plus, she reportedly knew about the news for a bit before Dave made it public.
Behind-the-scenes, Dave is reportedly still trying to piece the relationship back together, believe it is still “salvageable,” despite Jordyn’s alleged distrust. A source told the Daily Mail that he was making a “last-ditch” attempt to “fix it.” They added: “She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust. He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs.”
For now, no divorce paperwork has been filed by either party. Dave and Jordyn were married in 2003 before having three daughters together, Grohl, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. Whey they originally met, Dave reportedly made a prediction, though, which could indicate a split is in the near future. He told Jordyn, “You’re my future ex-wife,” before she handed over her number, signing, “Jordyn, your future ex-wife.”
