Eminem’s latest music video is set to strike a chord with fans. On Thursday, Oct. 3, the rapper dropped a heartfelt visual for his song “Temporary,” which pays tribute to his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, now 28.
The five-minute video offers an intimate glimpse into Hailie’s life, featuring nostalgic clips and photos from her childhood, right up to a powerful ending where she shares the news of her pregnancy with her father.
In “Temporary,” Eminem, 51, opens up about his deepest fears, expressing, “My biggest fear is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I’m no longer here.” Through the song, he pours out his emotions, ensuring he leaves nothing unsaid.
The track, which includes vocals by Skylar Grey, is part of Eminem’s recent album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). From Hailie’s early years to the touching moments from her wedding day, the video captures never-before-seen memories that add even more depth to the poignant song.
