Sydney divulged that she handles her own bills, and is also the money-maker for her family.
“I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family,” she told the news outlet. The Anyone But You notable also mentioned that Jonathan was “not a financial backer” for her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films. Since 2018 Sydney and Jonathan have been dating, and now that they’re engaged, she wants to “set the record straight” on her romance and career as an actress and producer.

“You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man,” the blonde bombshell stated. “We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.” During the interview, Sydney noted that she was proud of her professional and financial accomplishments.
Her success enabled her to pay off her mother’s mortgage, fly her grandparents to Italy, and buy her uncle his “dream boat. Although she’s on top now, she’s aware that could change at the drop of a hat.
“I come from a family where I saw my parents lose everything, and I am terrified of that. That fear will always be instilled in me. I’m a huge saver,” she said. “I don’t just go and spend money. I like to invest. I like real estate. I like making, hopefully, smart choices with the money I’m making. But I don’t think I’ll ever actually feel comfortable.”
Sydney and her husband that is soon-to-be have been engaged since March 2022. After that, she was seen donning a massive diamond ring on her wedding ring finger. While she has been having a serious relationship with Jonathan for years, she sparked romance rumors with her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell, when they were promoting their 2023 rom-com.
Addressing the swirling dating rumors that surrounded them in 2023, Glen said:“That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully.”
