Lana Del Rey’s husband didn’t shy away from making a jab at his ex-wife. He was seen in a video taunting an alligator as part of his job and entertaining tourists
Lana Del Rey’s new alligator tour guide husband, Jeremy Dufrene, previously threatened to turn his ex-wife into gator food.
In a new video, while seemingly on a tour, he’s explaining to individuals in a boat that an alligator is approaching and looking for food such as chicken. Lana’s husband goes on to fearlessly taunt the animal with food, playfully teasing it. He’s seen petting the swamp beast and even giving it a kiss on the nose.
The audience seems pretty surprised by the closeness Jeremy seems to lure the alligator to, but he reassures them that they have a decent relationship. “Me and him have been pretty tight ever since I fed him my ex-wife,” he joked in the video obtained by TMZ, being sure to emphasize that it was all in good fun. “I’ve been messing with this guy for a long time.”
Jeremy and his ex-wife share two daughters together, but they divorced quite awhile ago. His most recent relationship, before the songstress, was with a woman named Kelli Welsh who he was engaged to for twelve years. While she’s expressed shock over Lana and Jeremy’s speedy marriage, she’s also only had good things to say about him.

She told the Daily Mail: “But I am happy for him. He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone. He was used to bayou life and being out on the swamp. He is deserving of this blessing … I will say that he really does look happy with her and she does with him which is a good thing to see. It’s not a fake happy – he truly is in love with her.”
Despite the niceties, an insider revealed that there’s a bit of tension behind the scenes with Lana drumming up some jealousy. The source told the Daily Mail that Kelli’s things were swiftly boxed up as Lana moved into the home, including Kelli’s crystals which Lana reportedly thought had her “energy.”

Plus, Kelli allegedly isn’t allowed back in the house. The informant said: “What is confusing is that Jeremy’s ex-wife Gina was always at the house with her new husband. They were one big, blended family. So, for Kelli to not be allowed does not make sense. Jeremy expressed that Lana was jealous of her because of their long history. So, when she moved into the house, they took all of Kelli’s belongings and put it into storage.”
Lana and Jeremy reportedly met five years ago, but stayed in close contact. While Jeremy didn’t hide his relationship at all, Lana decided to take a step back. The insider said: “At one point, she messaged him on social media, and told him that she was taking a break for a while, but he can call her anytime. This is while he was engaged to Kelli. Lana knew that Jeremy was engaged. He was very honest about this and had photos of Kelli and the kids on his own social media.”
