With just weeks before his milestone birthday, King Charles has a special wish – and it involves both of his beloved sons.
King Charles is set to celebrate his 75th birthday next month, and with just a few weeks left before his day, the monarch has one emotional wish – and it involves both Prince William and Prince Harry, whose relationship has become strained.
The brothers fell out after Prince Harry’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, and years on the duo have still been left reeling from the icy fall-out . A source told Mirror.com of the King’s wish to move on. They said: “King Charles wants nothing more than peace to be restored in his family. He wants to draw a line under their past feuds and for Prince William and Prince Harry to get along – and what better timing than his birthday to bring them together.”
The source continued: “King Charles has been through an awful lot since becoming king, and has been gallant in carrying out his duties while facing his own health woes as he announced he had cancer earlier this year. Now he wants nothing more than to make memories with his wife, sons and grandchildren. This is what he will treasure the most – especially as his milestone birthday approaches.”

In his memoir Spare, Harry candidly opened up about life behind the palace walls and hit out at various members of the Royal Family. The Duke of Sussex detailed his longstanding grievances with his stepmother Queen Camilla, accusing her of leaking stories about him to the media.
Despite the challenges in their relationship, Charles is reportedly more open to reconciliation after some spiritual reflection. “Since inheriting the crown, he has spent more time exploring theologies and the teaching of their central tenets including the nature of forgiveness,” a source said.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the source revealed that Charles has found “spiritual nourishment” in his conversations with religious figures, leading to a newfound openness towards reconciling with Harry, who has been living in California with Meghan Markle and their children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – for the past four years.
The source shared: “Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role…that reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.”
