P Diddy’s mother Janice Combs has reportedly broken her silence on her son’s legal woes, as she insists he’s “not the monster they have painted him to be”
P Diddy’s mom has reportedly broken her silence on her son’s recent arrest, according to TMZ.
The music mogul‘s mother reportedly shared her feelings on her son’s legal battle through her lawyer via local news outlet, Local 10 News on Sunday.
Through a statement shared by her attorney Natlie G. Figgers, Janice Combs, who was recently hospitalized with chest pains following Diddy’s arrest, shared her devastation over the claims made against her son.
She claimed the rapper has not been judged by the truth but by a “narrative created out of lies”.
Janice reportedly added: “To bear witness to what seems like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words.”

TMZ reported that Diddy’s mom also believes that Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit initiated a domino effect in terms of the claims made against Diddy, real name Sean Combs.
Addressing the shocking hotel footage, which saw Diddy kicking Cassie, Janice reportedly said: “Sometimes, the truth and a lie become so closely intertwined that it becomes terrifying to admit one part of the story, especially when that truth is outside the norm or is too complicated to be believed.”
She also reportedly insisted he’s “not the monster they have painted him to be”.
Diddy is currently being detained at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center in New York after being denied bail twice.

He will next appear in court on October 9 for a status hearing.
On September 16, Diddy was arrested on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for purposes of prostitution in Manhattan, New York.
He has pleaded not guilty in court and vehemently denied all allegations. Following his arrest, attorney Tony Buzbee claimed 120 people plan to sue Diddy and that the individuals involved allege Diddy exploited them and sexually abused them.

Among the 120 people who have filed complaints, Buzbee said 25 of them were minors at the time they alleged they were exploited and abused, with the youngest being nine years old.
