Taylor Swift was a no-show at Travis Kelce’s 35th birthday party, which was held at the Chiefs tight end’s Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City on Saturday
Travis Kelce turned 35 with more than just birthday festivities; he spent the day giving back – but without Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs star held his second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City on Saturday, benefiting his 87 and Running Foundation, which aims to support disadvantaged youth in Kansas City and Cleveland.
The charity bash was a hit, with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany lighting up the guest list. However, Kelce’s girlfriend, the legendary Taylor Swift, was notably absent despite a recent US Weekly report hinting that “Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”
Even without Swift physically there, her presence was undeniable as her hits played throughout the venue, and Kelce’s prized 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle made an appearance the same car that famously escorted Swift following her first Chiefs game appearance last year.

On the ‘New Heights’ podcast, Kelce spilled the beans about an upcoming event: “This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,” he said. He added, “And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It’s gonna be fun. I should have my old school ’70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have.”
Travis Kelce expressed his love for Kansas City during a chat with Page Six at an event. “It’s always a joy to be here in Kansas City. The people of Kansas City have shown up every single time I’ve done anything related to my foundation, and I love them for it,” he said.
He also confirmed that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, would be cheering him on at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints on Monday, according to the Mirror.
“She won’t be here today, but I know she’s coming for the game,” he disclosed. When quizzed about his birthday wish, the 35 year old replied: “I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those.”
Swift has been noticeably absent from the Chiefs’ last two games, both of which were victories over the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers, after attending the first two games of the season.
Even without Swift’s presence, Kelce gave his best performance of the season in the Chiefs’ 17-10 triumph over the Chargers last week. The nine-time Pro Bowler caught seven passes on nine attempts for 89 yards – a substantial improvement from his total yardage in the preceding three games.
It’s still uncertain whether Kelce has genuinely bounced back after a sluggish start to the year. In the first four weeks of the season, he hasn’t scored a touchdown or exceeded 100 receiving yards in any game.
