Cheryl is said to be distancing herself after the former presidential candidate’s alleged affair with a New York reporter, which has left her ’embarrassed.’
Cheryl Hines is alleged to be “talking about filing for divorce” from RFK Jr who she is married to, “but he’s begging her not to.”
It comes after the former presidential candidate allegedly embarked on an affair with a New York reporter, which has reportedly left Cheryl “embarrassed.”
Now the actress is reportedly considering taking legal action, the insider tells People magazine. A source claimed: “She’s been talking about filing for divorce, but he’s begging her not to file.”
The source added: “But how many times can you forgive a partner that’s dishonest and goes behind your back? It’s just ridiculous behavior from a grown, married man.” A representative for Hines had no comment, while Kennedy did not immediately respond to the outlet’s request for a comment.
Meanwhile fans of a major HBO show could not believe who Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is married to.
Cheryl is best known for her role in HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm as Larry David’s wife. The show aired from 2000 to 2011 for eight seasons and after a long hiatus came back for a ninth season in 2017.
Its 12th and final season premiered on February 4, 2024. Throughout Cheryl’s time on the comedy, she has received two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2003 and 2006.
She has also starred in The Flight Attendant, RV, Son of Zorn and directed her first film in 2009 called Serious Moonlight.
Both Cheryl and RFK Jr. credit Larry for introducing them. They began dating in December 2011, announced their engagement in April 2014 and married on August 2, 2014, at the Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod. The two have been together since and Cheryl supported him when he announced he was running as an independent for president of the United States in 2024. But the politician recently suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump for president.
RFK Jr. shared this news in a press conference in Phoenix, Arizona on August 23. Cheryl made a statement after his announcement but did not mention her husband’s endorsement of Trump. She expressed her gratitude for everyone who was a part of the campaign and what they have accomplished such as gathering “over a million signatures.” to get RFK Jr on the ballots “despite the roadblocks and lawsuits.”
