Celebrities aren’t immune to getting sucked into the wormhole that is social media. Scarlett Johansson confirmed so during a guest appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast.

During her conversation with hosts Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick, the Black Widow star opened up about why doesn’t have her own social media accounts.

“I honestly am too fragile of a person to have social media,” she said. “My ego is too fragile. I can’t deal with it. My brain is too fragile, I’m like a delicate flower. I have enough anxiety.”

“When I started realizing that I’d spent 20 minutes looking at somebody’s Instagram page who worked for a friend of mine—I now know you have a pit bull, two daughters, and live in Burbank—I’m like, ‘I just wasted 17 minutes of time, I now feel like I should move to California, get this specific dog, and change my life in all these ways,'” she continued. “I felt so bad, like I was missing out on this random person’s life. I can’t do this. I’m too fragile, I have too much anxiety about other things.”

Despite not having her own accounts, Johansson admitted that she occasionally relies on social media while overseeing her skincare brand, The Outset. Still, she has to restrain herself when it comes to TikTok, otherwise she gets “completely absorbed.”

“That’s how I know I can’t have it,” she said.

Bringing Scarlett Johansson’s character back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is certainly a big challenge.

During her appearance on the Today show, Scarlett Johansson surprised the audience when she mentioned speculation that she could still return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the superhero Black Widow.

“I would love to be able to continue collaborating with Marvel in other ways because I think there are still incredible stories out there. Re-imagining this genre is something I find very exciting,” the actress shared. shall.

Previously, in an interview in 2021, Scarlett Johansson affirmed that she had no plans to return to the role of female superhero Black Widow.
