As the Love Is Blind Season 7 finale episodes drop on Netflix, fans are eager to catch up with the cast’s current escapades.
Stars of the TV series often emerge looking quite different post-show, with many embracing dramatic makeovers. And this season, Hannah Jiles, 27, stands out with her astonishing transformation, proudly displaying a 75lb weight loss on Instagram.
Hannah, who was recently shown breaking it off with her fiancé Nick Dorka on Love Is Blind, has been racking up the likes for her latest Instagram snaps that showcase her trimmer physique and new flowing blonde hair.
In one viral moment, the West Virginia native struts down a hotel hallway in a form-fitting black dress while her show promo photo flashes on a screen. She mimes to an audio saying: “Take a look around, do you see her anywhere? Newsflash, you’re not gonna.” Her caption affirms her journey: “Same girl, just a healthier mindset.”
Another series of shots captures her strolling on the beach in a white tank top and loose jeans, showing off her sculpted waist and beaming at the camera. Fans have been quick to notice her new look, with one person commenting: “You changed your body,” while another exclaimed: “Slimming down! Good for you!”
But how did she achieve her new figure? Hannah recently opened up to US Weekly about her weight loss secrets, revealing that she “started watching what she ate and running” before her Netflix debut. She didn’t stop there though, also admitting she also underwent liposuction, which helped her drop from 220 pounds down to a svelte 175 pounds for the series.
Post-filming, Hannah continued to transform, opting for “eating cleaner” after recognizing her tendency to stress-eat. “I eat to cope,” she confessed. “After the show, I realised a lot of things. I got on anxiety medication, which I think really helped me. I don’t have as much anxiety, so I’m not anxiously eating.”
Despite fan speculation, Hannah clarified that her weight loss wasn’t due to Ozempic, although she gave it a go. She said: “I tried Ozempic in the spring. It was the generic version. I don’t know what it’s called, but I tried it for two weeks-ish. And for me, unfortunately, it just made me too sick. I couldn’t do it.
“It made me nauseous and made me want to vomit. I couldn’t eat food. I was like, ‘I’d rather be heavier than do this.’ But I think it’s an amazing thing. And if it didn’t make me sick, I definitely would’ve taken it, but I just couldn’t.”
Now tipping the scales at 145 pounds, the blonde bombshell credits Pilates and using housework as a workout. She’s also become “more cautious” with her diet and sticks to portion control.
She stated: “It’s nothing crazy that I’ve done,” “It’s mainly portion control, I didn’t really cut back on what I ate.
“I’ve done crash diets in the past. They don’t work for me. If I just eat what I normally eat [but] just eat a smaller portion, I’m OK. I try to eat protein.”
She continued: “I don’t like cooking meat at home, it grosses me out, so I eat a lot of fish at home. It’s easier. I try to eat proteins and some greens. Thankfully, I’m not a picky eater. But then if I want french fries for dinner, then I’ll have french fries for dinner. I just balance it out.”
