Chappell Roan did not hold back from speaking up at a red carpet. The singer demanded an apology from a photographer at the Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour, a documentary covering the worldwide tour of Olivia Rodrigo’s 2023 album.

Chappell wore a semi-sheer red dress covered in floral and left her hair down. She also had on matching gloves and wore her signature colorful makeup with blue eyeshadow and bright pink blush on the cheeks.

In a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, Chappell is seen confronting a photographer for “being disrespectful” to her at the Grammys and for “yelling” at her during a Grammy party. She also said that she “deserve[s] an apology for that” and told the photographer that they “need to apologize” to her.

The accused photographer seemed silent but the singer continued to question him until someone at the red carpet pulls on her arm to move her away from the situation.

This was not the first time Chappell has done something similar. At the MTV Video Music Award, the Good Luck, Babe! singer strutted down the black carpet in a Game of Thrones-themed ensemble, which she accessorized with a large sword. When her team was adjusting her dress, a person appeared to blurt out “Shut the f–k up.” She heard the remark and pointed at someone and yelled, “You shut the f–k up!”

It is not known what the person said next, but Chappell said, “No! Not me b- – -h,” was heard loud and clear.

Chappell has received major backlash after she pulled out of a music festival appearance at the last minute. The 26-year-old singer left fans stunned after she decided not to perform after being “overwhelmed” by public scrutiny. She has been open about her struggles about her rise to fame. She was set to perform as one of the performers at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York and Washington DC.

She also posted revealed that she refused to endorse anyone for the presidential election. The Chappell said she had many “issues with our government” and did not feel “pressure to endorse someone.

She told The Guardian: “I have so many issues with our government in every way. There are so many things that I would want to change. So I dont feel pressured to endorse someone.” She continued: “Theres problems on both sides. I encourage people to use your critical thinking skills, use your vote  vote small, vote for whats going on in your city.”
