Liam Payne died on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Police believe he was under the influence of a powerful drug that caused hallucinations and psychotic episodes.

“Cassidy heard about prostitutes and knew nothing about it,” a friend told The Post on Oct. 18.
The insider added that the evidence was “clearly a huge betrayal” for the social media influencer and “hurt her a lot”.
“Cassidy couldn’t stop crying. She was in so much pain. Even though there were so many people around to support her, things only got worse. She wasn’t okay,” the friend added.
Sources involved in the investigation into Liam Payne’s death told Argentina’s local news outlet La Nación on October 18 that two 25-year-old prostitutes admitted to drinking with Payne in his hotel room before his death.

The identities of the two women have not been released. They spoke to prosecutor Marcelo Roma under oath and said they were invited to the CasaSur Palermo hotel through an escort service.
The pair arrived at the hotel around 11.30am and spent several hours drinking with the pop star. However, the sex workers allege they did not use drugs with Payne and he seemed “normal” to them.
The two prostitutes reportedly did not leave the hotel until 4pm as they argued with the Night Changes singer over his refusal to pay them.
Another tourist, Michael Fleischmann, claimed he witnessed a “tense” fight over money.
The American tourist told the Buenos Aires Herald that he overheard Payne say: “I’ll give you $20,000 just because I can. I have $55 million and I like to help people.”
According to Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office, the two women “had left the hotel” at the time the Teardrops clone’s owner plunged to his death.
Investigators also shared in a report obtained by Page Six that they interviewed two women along with three hotel employees and concluded that Payne’s death was unrelated.
La Nación ‘s sources said the prostitutes cooperated with the police and even handed over their phones.

The friend also shared that the couple had a heated discussion about Cassidy wanting to fly back to the US and that she eventually “solved it herself by buying herself a ticket” home.
The friend added that Cassidy was frustrated because Liam Payne “didn’t tell her when he was leaving Argentina”.
“Honestly, I love South America, but I hate staying in one place for too long,” social media star Kate Cassidy shared on TikTok earlier this week. She added that their five-day trip actually stretched to two weeks.
The couple flew to Argentina to support former One Direction member Niall Horan, who was performing there on October 2. The singer also used the opportunity to make amends with his longtime girlfriend.
In a since-deleted Snapchat video, Payne teased Cassidy for leaving the holiday early, joking that she was a “weirdo” and a “loser.”
Days after the Strip That Down singer was dumped by his girlfriend, he began using alcohol and drugs, which led to him acting “erratically” and eventually leading to his death.
In a statement on October 18, Cassidy said she was “completely devastated” by her boyfriend’s death.
Liam Payne’s cause of death was determined to be multiple injuries resulting in internal and external bleeding due to a fall, according to an autopsy by Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office.
