Viewers are convinced a throwback clip from Scary Movie “predicted” the legal drama surrounding Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs as the rapper has denied all allegations against him.
In one scene from the 2000 horror movie parody, high school friends Cindy (Anna Faris) and Brenda (Regina Hall) discussed their classmate Buffy (Shannon Elizabeth). Brenda then brought up Buffy’s behavior at a fictionalized version of one of Diddy’s parties.
Brenda said: “My friend Sean had a pool party this summer. … You know, Puff Daddy? Anyway, everyone was drinking Cristal champagne and then it started to get wild and people was getting freaky in the pool and stuff.”

P Diddy ‘must adapt to restricted privileges of daily prison life’ as he’d denied ‘VIP treatment’
She continued: “I look over and there was your girl, getting buck wild in the Jacuzzi. With a backup dancer!” She then added: “I mean, that’s nasty. That’s lower than a security guard. At least security can get you backstage. She don’t love herself!”
The video has resurfaced as Diddy has been hit with a number of civil lawsuits filed by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. The lawsuits include allegations of rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault, all of which Diddy has denied.
Diddy is also in prison as he awaits federal trial following his arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations against him and pleaded not guilty in court.
Commenting on the Scary Movie clip on X, one person wrote: “Hitting different in 2024.” Another suggested: “They gave us clues about Diddy on scary movie 24 years ago.”
A third fan echoed those thoughts: “Scary Movie and The Simpsons predict everything.” Someone else said: “Thats wild! Its interesting how much foreshadowing can happen in movies. They really had some insight!” while a fourth person simply commented: “Wow.”
Buzbee previously claimed to have 120 individuals who have either sued or are planning to sue Combs. Responding to the announcement of the lawsuits, Combs’ attorney Erica Wolff said: “We cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
She concluded: “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
In a second statement about the lawsuits, Diddy’s attorneys told The Mirror US: “The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded todays barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone adult or minor, man or woman.”
