A victorious Trump rally coming ‘soon’
An aide to the president-elect told NBC News that another Trump rally can be expected “soon.”
When he defeated Hillary Clinton eight years ago, Trump made multiple stops during the transition in what he called a “thank you tour.”
Fear and familiarity among European leaders
Reporting from Dubai
Many European leaders were glued to the results overnight. A French official tells NBC News that President Emmanuel Macron watched the results come in while grabbing some sleep. He was one of the first to congratulate Trump, saying in a post on X that he was “ready to work together as we did for four years.”

“I think we just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America,” Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, Trump’s running mate, said early Wednesday at the campaign’s victory party in West Palm Beach, Florida.
