Netflix has just snagged a fan-favorite film series for their massive collection, and it’s the ultimate binge-watch material, says enthusiasts.
The adrenaline-pumping Fast and Furious saga boasts ten films, with an eleventh on the horizon. Netflix has rolled out the first six flicks, treating subscribers to some high-octane excitement this month. Newbies now have the chance to get up to speed with the saga’s beginnings before diving into the latest installments.
When they first hit screens in the early 2000s, these films were all the rage. Although recent box-office figures haven’t been as impressive, loyal followers are convinced that Netflix’s reach could draw in fresh eyes.

Paul Walker’s final words were ‘strange’ and ‘haunting’ given tragic way he died
At the heart of the action is Vin Diesel’s portrayal of a street car racer. His life takes a turn after he befriends a rival, unaware that this newbie is actually an undercover cop probing him and the drag-racing world for a major hijacking case.
In a poignant move, Netflix has included all the Fast and Furious titles starring Paul Walker, who met a tragic end in a real-life car accident prior to the release of the seventh movie. Many argue that the series peaked with the first seven films, applauding Netflix for choosing to feature only part of the franchise. Plus, 2011’s Fast Five marks the debut of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s character.
Netflix’s recent announcement about the Fast and Furious series sparked quite the buzz online. Twitter user @SnyderQueen_ chimed in with, “First 3 are the best imo” and was joined by @GiantDCUfan30 stating, “The first and second are the greatest of the #FAST franchise (I love them all – those that I have seen).”
Meanwhile, @db_gooper voiced his surprise: “Just when I thought it was over, Netflix pulls me back in with 6 FastandFurious movies.” Another fan couldn’t contain their excitement saying, “Yep. Time to binge all of these again.”
On Reddit, the series’ super fans engaged in discussions about how they rank the ten films, considering which ones could be potentially skippable. User Mclemon17 shared a personal ranking: “5, 6, 9, 7, 2, 1, 4, 3, 8, HandS… But I do recommend watching all of them for the full experience.”
