Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has theorized that celebrities aren’t publicly condemning Sean “Diddy” Combs for his recent lawsuits because the music mogul has them on tape, possibly in compromising positions.
Over the years, the 21 Questions rapper has teased and criticized Diddy for different reasons, often taking to social media to troll the Bad Boys Records founder. With all of the accusations against Diddy, such as domestic abuse and sexual assault, 50 Cent is addressing the allegations in a new Diddy docuseries that he’s producing. It was announced in May that Netflix bought the rights to his much-awaited documentary on the Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems rhymer.
50 Cent revealed during an interview with Us Weekly why he initially decided to tackle Diddy’s ongoing legal drama in the way he is.

“I’m the only person in hip-hop culture that has produced any hit television. Why wouldn’t I be the person to produce it?” 50 cent said. “And I’m not on the tapes. See, some of the people who have been around in the culture who are not saying anything—that’s because they’ve been to the parties… They don’t know what part of their experiences are on tape.”
50 Cent continued: “So it keeps them quiet. And it looks like I’m the only guy, but I’ve been [saying] for years that something’s not right.”
Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura’s lawsuit filed against Diddy in November 2023 kicked off the ones that followed, which was a sexual assault lawsuit from his ex-producer Lil Rod, along with a lawsuit from April Lampros, a woman who claimed that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her over 20 years ago.

Cassie alleged that Diddy raped her, and repeatedly physically abused her throughout their 10-year relationship, which was from 2008 to 2018. In court documents obtained by The Mirror US, Cassie claimed she suffered abuse at the hands of Diddy when she was just 19. At the time she signed a deal with Diddy’s record label in 2005, Diddy was 37.
Cassie said that he “lured [her] into an ostentatious, fast-paced and drug-fuelled lifestyle” which later turned into a romantic relationship. The allegations made against Diddy, specifically the one about him allegedly being involved in human trafficking, led to federal agents raiding his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
Despite Diddy’s homes being turned upside down by law enforcement, those aforementioned raids didn’t result in the New York native being arrested or charged. He has vehemently denied all wrongdoing.
