Kanye West might’ve insinuated that Sean “Diddy” Combs committed his alleged crimes before the music mogul was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

The Flashing Lights rapper’s cryptic song lyric seemingly hint at Diddy’s crimes, and the text messages between them expose much more about their relationship. Kanye’s song Carnival with Ty Dolla Sign put Diddy on the same level as convicted sexual predators Bill Cosby and R. Kelly.

In the song, which dropped seven months ago, Ye rapped: “”Now I’m Ye-Kelly, b- -h, now, I’m Bill Cosby, b- -h. Now, I’m Puff Daddy rich that’s ‘Me Too’ me rich.”

R. Kelly was sentenced in 2022 to 30-plus years in prison after he was convicted of crimes, which included sex trafficking, child pornography, and kidnapping. Meanwhile, America’s ex-national treasure was convicted of sexual assault in 2018, but his sexual conviction was overturned in 2021 after he served two years of a three to 10-year sentence.

Kanye and Diddy have had ups and downs in their relationship over the years. An Instagram account reshared the heated conversation that two hip-hop superstars had via text a couple of years ago on the social media platform.

The screenshots making their way around Instagram again were originally posted by Kanye online. However, Diddy never confirmed that the text thread was authentic. Their argument had to do with the Jesus Walks rhymer wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt. But then the discussion intensified, unveiling the apparent tension between Diddy and Kanye.

Initially Diddy contacted Kanye, letting him know they could meet face-to-face so they could handle their issues with one another in person.

Diddy exclaimed, “As soon as I land we’ll meet face to face!!! Send me a address.”

Kanye replied back: “F- – K YOU.” He then added, “I didn’t like our convo. I’m selling these tees. Nobody gets in between me and my money.

Kanye then likened himself to his grandfather, texting: “This is my grandfather texting you now. Never call me with no bt like that again unless you ready to-green light me.”

He ranted on: “Cause anybody who got on that tee is me. Out of respect for everything you’ve meant to me l’ll be quiet as Virgil. But now I know how I’ve hurt peopie I love with threats. Come do something illegal to me noooow pleeeeeeeeease.”

Diddy texted in response: “I’m just trying to talk to you as a Black man. And I’m talking to you because this is hurting our people. Stop.”

Kanye stuck by his guns, replying, “Anything you text I will post. I love you. And you guys are breaking my heart. I accept your apology in advance.”
