“Suge Knight Expresses Concern for Diddy—Is He Going Through ‘Withdrawals from Drugs’ While Detained?.Vuong.”

Former Death Row Records head honcho Suge Knight’s years-long career in the hip-hop music industry led him to have many, sometimes tense, interactions with Diddy

Suge Knight has always been very outspoken in his views on Sean “Diddy” Combs over the years.

The former Death Row Records head honcho’s years-long career in the hip-hop music industry led him to have many, sometimes tense, interactions with Diddy. During Suge’s time in Hollywood, the former record executive claims to have obtained a lot of inside information on many celebrities, in addition to the Bad Boy Records founder.

Suge even has gone as far as to predict what he thinks Diddy’s time in pre-trial detention could look like.

The prisoner, who is currently serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter, opened up to News Nation through a televised phone call from prison about his thoughts on Diddy. It’s not a secret that Suge and Diddy have had a long-standing feud, which started in the 90s when their respective labels Death Row and Bad Boy battled it out on and off wax.

When Suge appeared on CUOMO, he warned that his nemesis should keep his eyes peeled among fellow prisoners. Though he warned Diddy about the East Coast rapper’s potential threats in jail, he admitted that he was confident Diddy would be able to hold his own.

This is because Suge claims that his former “friend” Diddy knows “powerful people.” He also purported that the I’ll Be Missing You rapper would suffer from drug withdrawals during his detainment at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, as he awaits trial. Neither Diddy nor reps of the rapper have publicly confirmed that he used drugs in the days before he was arrested in New York City on September 16.

“I don’t think nobody can just count [Diddy] out, I don’t think he gon’ lay down and in the court and die. He probably going through a lot of s— right now because he’s probably going through a lot of withdrawals from the drugs,” Suge said.

Amid the phone interview, Suge also talked about the jail experience and how it’s a “negative environment” irrespective of who you are. The ex-bodyguard also implied that prisoners would go after others to build their reputation behind bars.

“We gotta learn from our mistakes. Everything don’t have to be a mistake, you gotta better yourself, but we all know what we signed up for…” he continued.

A retired warden from MDC gave insight into where Diddy’s being held in the facility earlier this week. The former law enforcement officer shared that the space had limited outside access. He also believed like Suge, that Diddy’s charges of sex trafficking, transportation for prostitution, and mounting sexual assault lawsuits might make him a target in jail. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all of his charges.
