Cameras caught San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams committing a kind gesture for a young fan after being ejected in Sundays loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Trent Williams was ejected late in the fourth quarter after exchanging punches with Chiefs safety Bryan Cook. Oddly, Cook wasnt ejected even though he threw the first punch in the confrontation:
It was indeed a frustrating outing for Williams and the 49ers. The defending NFC Champions are now a disappointing 3-4 through seven games, and the loss dropped San Francisco to 0-5 against Patrick Mahomes.
Despite being ejected, Trent Williams kept the mood positive and made a young fans day by autographing her hat as he headed into the tunnel:

There was a lot of hype around the Chiefs-49ers game once the 2024 schedule was released, as it marked a rematch of the thrilling Super Bowl 58 showdown last February. But it turned out to be a sloppy affair on both sides, with the two clubs combining for five turnovers (all interceptions) and just 639 yards of offense.
The 49ers were dealt another major blow when star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was carted off after suffering a knee injury late in the second quarter. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that they fear a season-ending ACL tear for the All-Pro wideout.
Trent Williams & 49ers Must Bounce Back Next Week
The silver lining for the 49ers is that the NFC West is still very much within reach, as they trail the division-leading Seattle Seahawks (4-3) by just one game. And remember, the 49ers would hold the head-to-head tiebreak with a season-series sweep of Geno Smith and company.
But itll be time to hit the panic button if the 49ers lose to the slumping Dallas Cowboys (3-3) at home next Sunday. The 49ers have owned Dak Prescott, whose Cowboys have looked vulnerable on both sides of the ball this season.
