Jeopardy! fans “chuckling” to themselves as a priest contestant correctly guessed one Megan Fox film but failed to “bite on two of the Bible clues.”
During the Wednesday, Nov. 27 episode of Jeopardy, Julia Schan, a stay-at-home mom from Pleasanton, California, Drew Wheeler, a high school social studies teacher from Athens, Georgia, and Kevin Laskowski, an Episcopal priest from Falls Church, Virginia took the stage as they were quizzed on their trivia knowledge. During the season 41 game, the three contestants were tested on a variety of categories ranging from ‘Quoting the King James Bible’ to ‘The Worlds of TV.’
And as they were tested in the categories, many viewers were fighting back laughter as Kevin was quick to name Megan’s hit movie ‘Jennifer’s Body’ on Monday, where she famously starred as a sexy cheerleader-turned-zombie, but missed not one but two Bible clues during Wednesday’s episode.

Jeopardy! fans furious as ‘distracting’ clue gives the answer away and spoils the game
In the category ‘Quoting the King James Bible’ Kevin failed to guess two of the clues despite dedicating his career to the religion. For $800 players were asked: “Why beholdest thou” this 4-letter thing “that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” And after being met with crickets from the trio, Ken Jennings revealed the correct answer: “the mote.”
The second clue that stumped all three contestants read: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils” this phrase.” And when Ken was once again met with silence, he shared the correct response: “the breath of life.”
And as the priest failed to answer these two questions, Jeopardy viewers had a field day on social media cracking jokes questioning his career title. On Reddit, one viewer wrote: “Getting a chuckle that Kevin got a Jennifers body clue Monday – but didnt bite on two of the Bible clues today.” To which another fan replied: “I am not a religious person at all, and I got the last 2 Bible questions. I was shocked that he didn’t.”
Over on X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: “2/5 in the King James Bible category. Quite embarrassing for Kevin the priest.” And another asked: “The priest knew hip hop lyrics yesterday and missed Bible quotes today?? Is he cosplaying us?” While a third confused viewer wrote: “The priest doesn’t know the Bible verses? Say whatttt?”
