A California Walmart employee got the surprise of her life after she was called into work on her day off but later left a millionaire after purchasing a lottery ticket.
According to the California lottery, Rebeca Gonzalez was called into work at a Los Angeles County Walmart on Labor Day and got the best surprise.

Id planned on buying one on my break, but it was so busy I totally forgot. I didnt remember I was going to buy a Scratchers until I left for the night and passed by the machines, Gonzalez said. I couldnt believe it!. She won a million dollars on a $10 investment.
According to Gonzalez, she plans to use the money to clear her debt and she and her husband plan to use the remainder of the money to close on a new house. Gonzalez said that despite her newfound fortune, shes still putting in her hours at Walmart.
