Oh, baby.
Costco is pushing back on a claim made by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer that the rapper’s vast baby oil collection was purchased at one of the wholesale giant’s stores.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, implied the hip-hop mogul had a large supply of baby oil because he shops at Costco after US attorneys alleged they found 1,000 bottles of the product at Combs’ mansions, which they claim he used for “freak offs,” multiday drug-fueled sex parties that Diddy allegedly lured and coerced women to join.
“He buys in bulk,” Agnifilo said in an interview posted Wednesday. “I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home.”
However, the company is pushing back on Agnifilo’s assertion.
The retailer also does not have baby oil listed on their website, nor does rival warehouse giant Sam’s Club.
The Post has reached out to Costco for additional comment.
When speaking with The Post on Saturday, Agnifilo questioned the government’s accounting of Diddy’s baby oil collection. “I don’t think it was 1,000,” Agnifilo said. “I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,”
Agnifilo doubled down on the claim in an interview with TMZ posted on Wednesday.
“Back when I was a kid in the late ’70s, they were called threesomes,” Agnifilo said of Diddy’s alleged “freak offs.”
“I don’t know where the number ‘1,000’ came from,” he continued. “I can’t imagine it’s thousands [of bottles of baby oil and lube], and I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”
After TMZ’s Harvey Levin explained that the government’s implication is that baby oil could be used as “a lubricant for an orgy,” Diddy’s attorney seemed baffled.
“I guess — I don’t know what you need a thousand [for],” he insisted. “One bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don’t know what you need a thousand for.”
Echoing what he told The Post, Agnifilo added, “[Diddy] has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. I mean, have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?”
“I don’t think it was a thousand. Let’s just say it was a lot.”
The Post has reached out to Agnifilo for further comment.
The details about Diddy’s vast stores of baby oil were among many shocking revelations in the government’s unsealed indictment against the disgraced star.
