David Beckham is once again expanding his impressive tattoo collection!
The former soccer star, 49, recently shared that he got a new graphic tattoo from one of his favorite artists, London-based Certified Letter Boy. He posted photos of the fresh ink, which is located on the side of his leg just below the knee.
On his Instagram Stories, Beckham showed a snapshot of the tattoo artist working on the outline of two hands pressed together in a prayer position, captioning it, “Thanks mate x.”
In a subsequent photo, he provided a close-up of the finished tattoo, showcasing intricate details such as knuckle and palm lines, nails, and shadowing. He tagged the tattoo artist and included a white heart emoji to show his gratitude.

This new tattoo brings Beckham closer to the milestone of 100 tattoos. Film director Fisher Stevens previously mentioned in the Netflix docuseries Beckham that the former soccer star was already nearing that number.
“When I asked him, ‘How many tattoos do you have?’ he replied, ‘I have 88,’” Stevens recalled. However, throughout the filming, they discovered Beckham had at least “six more” tattoos that he hadn’t counted. When Stevens asked him why he had so many, Beckham simply said, “I just like them.”
Stevens added with a laugh, “I wondered, ‘Is there some form of self-torture?’ Beckham responded, ‘No, I don’t think so.’ But I thought so.”

In September 2023, David Beckham revealed a new tattoo featuring the word “Posh” written in cursive on the lower part of his middle finger, right next to the finger where he wears his gold wedding band, honoring his wife, Victoria Beckham, who was famously Posh Spice in the Spice Girls.
He also has a tattoo dedicated to his wife that reads “Victoria” on his arm, along with the names of their four children: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13. Beckham even has a tattoo design hand-drawn by Harper, which he shared in 2017.
He previously told The Sun, “Any of the tattoos I’ve got are of the family.”
The rest of his tattoos feature inspirational messages, including “Dream big, be unrealistic,” “In the face of adversity,” and “Let them hate as long as they fear,” among others.
