Singer Ventura had an onandoff relationship with the hiphop mogul from 2007 and 2018 She sued him in November 2023 accusing him of rape sexual assault and physical abuse The case was settled a little more than a day after Ventura filed the lawsuit
Ventura has been credited for opening the door for others to file their own lawsuits against Combs In March Homeland Security raided his homes in Florida and New York
He was arrested on Monday following a grand jury indictment on multiple counts including two that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison
Representatives for Ventura sent a note to media on Tuesday saying she would not be commenting on the indictment
Following Combs arrest Khalifa took to X formerly Twitter to heap praise on Ventura for speaking up about the alleged abuse

Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges at a hearing on Tuesday and was denied bail by US Magistrate Judge Robyn F Tarnofsky
The judge cited very significant concerns about Combs misuse of illicit substances and what appears to be anger issues
Combs attorney Marc Agnifilo vowed to appeal the decision and will state his clients case to the court at a hearing on Wednesday
