Ashton Jeantys girlfriend has clapped back at Travis Hunter following his comments on their competition for this seasons Heisman Trophy.
The Colorado and Boise State stars are the top favorites for said accolade, having staked their claims. But Hunter feels like his shouldnt even be in question, given that he plays on both sides of the ball, claiming good running backs are a dime a dozen while no one can do what hes been doing.
I dont know who is all there. You all see Ashton Jeanty, but it is not like we havent seen a good running back that is good. We havent seen a player that has played both ways, and Im going to keep saying that, the CU star told Robert Griffin on the latters podcast earlier this month.
(Jeanty) has I think 95 carries for 1,000 yards. If I had 95 catches, how much yards you think Id have? If I had 95 targets on defense what you think Id have? If I had 95 catches on offense, what do you think Id have? he added.
I try to tell you, hes got double the touches Ive got on the offensive side of the ball and I still have defensive statsthats still crazyand were only in Week 6, So, Im not gonna argue about it.

Kudos to Travis, hes balling for real. Hes doing some stuff we aint ever seen nobody do. Personally, I dont take no offense to it. Hes just speaking his opinion, everybodys got an opinion, he told YouTuber Deestroying.

Ashton Jeantys girlfriend, Gabrielle Miller, wasnt as forgiving. She took to Instagram after her bf posted a photo slide captioned, You cant kill the boogeyman #hei2man, commenting, ik the a gap hate to see you coming.
Though not specific, the comment is believed to be a shot at Hunter.
With plenty of football left to play, theres plenty of time for the college stars to continue to make their respective Heisman cases.
