The rumors were true, Beyoncé performed at Kamala Harris’ rally.
The Grammy Award-winning singer took the stage to welcome Kamala Harris to her hometown of Houston, Texas. Introduced by her mother Tina Knowles, the Crazy in Love songstress ignited a loud applause as she came to the podium along with someone who some weren’t expecting.
By her side was none other than her Destiny’s Child bandmate and childhood friend Kelly Rowland. Those in the crowd at the rally couldn’t stop cheering after Tina introduced them both. Social media erupted also as many took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their excitement to see Beyonce and Kelly together on one stage again.
“Its BEYONCE AND KELLY!! #KamalaHarris4POTUS2024 #Beyonce #KamalaHarris2024 #Texas,” one exclaimed on X.

Instead, she gave an inspirational speech that got the crowd pumped before she introduced Democratic presidential nominee Harris.
“Its time to sing a new song. A song that began 248 years ago. The old notes of downfall, discord, despair no longer resonate. Our moment right now, the 16 Carriages songstress said. “Its time for America to sing a new song. Our voices sing a chorus of unity.
Before the Harris rally, TMZ falsely reported that Beyoncé was going to performance at the Democratic National Convention in August. The celebrity gossip outlet claimed that the singer was set to perform before Vice President Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic presidential nomination with Tim Walz as her running Vice President.
TMZ admitted their wrongs in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that read: “To quote the great Beyonce: We gotta lay our cards down, down, down we got this one wrong.”
Instead, Pink and her daughter Willow performed “What About Us” while country group The Chicks gave their rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Other celebrities like Stephen Curry, Oprah, Eva Longoria, Steve Kerr, John Legend and more were in attendance supporting the current Vice President.
Kamala has received many celebrity endorsement like Billie Eilish, Eminem, Kerry Washington and Taylor Swift. Taylor made her endorsement after the Presidential debate on September 10 with an Instagram post of her holding one of her cats.
