Kanye West shocked fans with a new music video release.
The video featured his daughters, North, 11, and Chicago, 6, racing through a desert in futuristic vehicles which resembled Elon Musk’s Cybertruck. They appear to be up against a variety of animalistic characters who zoom by them. Both North and Chicago are featured on the song, Bomb, lyrically as well.
They lent their voices to the tune which is featured on Kanye’s album, Vultures 2. North’s verse is mostly in Japanese as Chicago comes onto the song with more a freestyle like rap. Despite the children’s adorable look, fans were quick to clock the rapper’s use of artificial intelligence for the video.
“This AI use making me nervous for Bully,” wrote a fan, referencing Kanye’s expected 11th studio album. In the comments, a fan begged: “AI slop of your own daughters. Ye please stop using AI.”
“So am I hallucinating or did anyone else watch the music video with Kanyes daughters,” wrote one shocked fan. Another replied: “I cannot believe that brother made an AI music video with his own daughters.”
In addition to North and Chicago, rapper Yuno Miles was featured on the song. The Detroit native rose to popularity on YouTube and became a prominent figure in hip hop. He went mainstream with his 2020 song, Blizzard. Fans were thrilled to see the star link up with Ye, flying to the comments with excitement.
“Im so glad yuno miles is helping out small time rappers like ye start up their careers,” teased one fan. Another added: “The vibes are unmatchedNorth West and Chicago West coming in hot, Yuno Miles sprinkling that quirky sauce, and the whole thing just clicks. It’s giving meme-worthy, chaotic genius energy, and Im here for it.”
Plenty of criticism came out from fans who expressed concern that the rapper fell off. “Can we just all agree that Kanye faded out of existence in 2021 and everything after is just the work of a government-placed imposter?” said one. Another wrote: “I just had to wake up to Kanye dropping one of the worst songs ever made bro how did we go from the genius of Runaway to this.”
