A resurfaced video featuring Justin Bieber and Sean “Diddy” Combs has drawn attention amid Diddy’s ongoing legal battles, where he faces serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The clip, from a 2011 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, highlights the close bond between a then-16-year-old Bieber and Diddy, leading to new discussions in light of the allegations against the music mogul.
During the segment, host Jimmy Kimmel asked the duo if they were working together, to which Diddy replied, “No… we’ve become friends in a strange way,” affectionately referring to Bieber as “like a little brother.” Diddy went on to praise Bieber, calling him “one of the greatest kids that you could ever know.”
In the clip, Bieber jokingly mentioned that Diddy had promised him a Lamborghini, though he had not yet delivered on that promise. Diddy appeared mildly annoyed and explained that Bieber had the car for only a day or two, before adding, “He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television.”
With Diddy now facing charges related to sexual misconduct, another clip from the same era has resurfaced, casting their relationship in a more uncomfortable light. In that video, Diddy expressed his frustration that Bieber wasn’t spending as much time with him. Bieber, in an awkward exchange, offered to give Diddy his phone number, implying Diddy didn’t have it.
A representative for Bieber, who is now 30, commented on the situation, stating that while Bieber is aware of Diddy’s arrest, he is focusing on his family life and being a great father and husband. Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed their first child in August 2024.
As Diddy’s legal troubles intensify, attorney Tony Buzbee recently held a press conference accusing the music mogul of sexually assaulting 120 individuals, including 25 minors, with one victim as young as 9 years old. Buzbee also warned that many influential figures connected to the case would be named, and their identities would shock the public.
Diddy remains behind bars as he awaits trial, though a court date has yet to be scheduled. If convicted, he could face a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison. As the case unfolds, the resurfaced clips involving Bieber add another layer of complexity to the public’s view of Diddy’s past relationships and actions.
