Busta Rhymes has come under fire after he urged people to “reserve opinions” on the allegations against Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs.
P Diddy was arrested in September on multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He is also facing a series of civil lawsuits filed by Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee. The lawsuits include allegations of rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault.
Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations against him and pled not guilty in court. During an appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Venom: The Last Dance, Busta Rhymes was asked for his thoughts on the allegations against Diddy.

The rapper, whose real name is Trevor George Smith, said: “I don’t pay attention to none of it. I just kinda like to pay attention to the truth. I don’t really like to speak on situations that I’m not well-versed in and that’s not really my situation.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he added: “But I wish the best for everyone involved. God bless everyone involved. And, you know, I think that we should all kind of be a little more mindful of how much we speak on other things when it’s as sensitive as this.
“People don’t keep in mind the effect of what their opinion can have. And I think it’s really, really important that we reserve our opinions until we understand what the undisputed truth is.”
Busta Rhymes was then asked if he has had the chance to speak to Diddy. He admitted he hasn’t spoken to the Bad Boy Records founder since before “got a little out of control”.
He concluded: “A lot of the times when people are going through things, you gotta respect the space and the privacy that they need to process how they gonna deal with the things that they goin’ through. I just want to see the right end result for everyone.”
People aren’t happy with his comments and took to X to share their thoughts. One person fumed: “He has never been a smart man….”
Another shared a row of red siren emojis with the comment: “Hmm.” A third person wrote: “So shouldnt he do the same and stfu..” while someone else simply added: “Come on man.”
