Former president Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of personal attacks against Vice President Kamal Harris. On Monday, Trump, 78, claimed that his opponent in the upcoming presidential election was a “cognitive mess” and that she was a “total stupid person.”
“She’s a mess. She’s a cognitive mess, and nobody wants to talk about it,” he said before labeling her “the most radical, most incompetent, most unfit vice president in the history of our country.” reports NBC. “Something is clearly wrong with her. She can’t put two sentences together,” Trump said.
The Republican candidate later said she doesn’t have “compassion, the smarts or the strength” to be president. Harris has yet to address the comments. In an interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God, Harris, 59, stated that if I responded to every name he called me, I wouldnt be focused on the things that actually help the American people. And thats my focus.

In the months leading up to the election, Trump has attempted to double down on his attacks on Harris. Late last month, Trump called his opponent as “mentally impaired.” Trump recently shocked several McDonald’s diners in Bucks County, Pennsylvania when he donned a paper hat and worked a shift at the fast food restaurant.
According to Trump’s campaign, the arrangement was made to have several pre-screened customers be served by the former president. Photos from the event show Trump wearing the chain’s iconic hat and apron while posing for photographers. “Ive now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump joked as he put on the apron taking another swipe at his opponent. The attack on Harris comes weeks after he continuously attacked her over her former job.
Harris later pushed back on Trump’s mocking comments, telling MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, Part of the reason I even talk about having worked at McDonalds is because there are people who work at McDonalds in our country who are trying to raise a family, she said. I worked there as a student.”
During the interview, Ruhle pointed out that several polls still show voters think former President Donald Trump will be better on the economy. Harris countered the statement by arguing that her background helps her have more in common with the average American than Trump does. Once again remarking about her experience at McDonalds.
Trump has repeatedly said on the campaign trail that Harris is lying about her fast food experience. But she said she worked, and grew up in terrible conditions, she worked at McDonalds, it was suchSHE NEVER WORKED THERE! Trump said at a rally in Indiana back in September.
During an appearance on CNNs The Source with Kaitlan Collins, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said the fact that Trump was accusing anyone of lying was “laughable.”
For Donald Trump to accuse anybody of lying is nothing less than laughable, Sanders said. What can you say this guy lies every single day and its not just stretching the truth, its making propitious lies.
