Donald Trump’s recent campaign event saw the Republican appearing “more orange than ever” as he posed with his “big, beautiful” truck.
The choice of clothing accentuated the ex-president’s Fanta-colored face, giving it an even more orange hue than usual.
“Vest is matching the face. almost as orange,” commented a user under a Reddit post documenting Trump’s press address. “Some may say the orangest,” another added.

“When do we get to see him in an orange jumpsuit? ” queried another, referring to Trump’s criminal convictions related to falsifying business records, reports the Daily Star.
This isn’t the first time Trump’s facial appearance has been a topic of discussion. This publication previously nicknamed him ‘Orange Manbaby’ and has recently created a ‘Fantameter’ to track the evolution of his face.
As a child, Donald Trump lacked the signature bronzed look he’s known for today. Pictures of him as a four year old depict a youngster with ambitions of power, his pose commanding attention while he adamantly stares off into some unseen future.
Back in those days, he sported the normal blush-tinted cheeks common among white kidsquite the opposite from the tanned magnate the world is familiar with now. Even in his early days as a brash property developer, kick-started by a “small” $1million loan from his dad Fred, there was no indication of the bronze hue that would later become his hallmark.
The shift towards a more sun-kissed complexion became noticeable in the 90s and early 00s when Trump helmed The Apprentice. Tanning guru Tania Woloshyn has tied this aesthetic development to Trump’s reported inner vulnerabilities, ones that she argues are stitched into the fabric of who he is.
In a 2018 treatise, Woloshyn states, “Trump believes altering his natural skin color will improve his appearance and, hence, sense of self,” adding that “Trump’s skin color is a target of ridicule of a man obsessed with vanity yet marked by signs of failed masculinity.”
His progression deeper into the limelight corresponded with an increase on what Woloshyn calls the Fantameter. By the time 2016 rolled around, Trump’s skin tone could be described as outright tangerine, with the early days of his presidency underscoring this transformation.
