General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is ready to play hard ball.
Things are looking up for Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) right now, and Ned knows that means its just the right time to strike while the iron is hot and use Drews impending success as leverage to get what he wants out of him.
Of course, that means Ned will need a verifiable threat to hold against Drew, and Elaine (Judy Cain) plans to deliver just that. We can pretty much put money on it that Drew isnt going to win this election and head to Washington, D.C. once Ned is done with him.
General Hospital Spoilers Ned Quartemaine Doesnt Want This News To Get Out
As usual, Ned is generally never trying to out someone in a public way or completely ruin their life. He just wants to make Drew squirm enough to give him what he wants to maintain control of ELQ and have Drew fade to black in the family business.
But something tells us this news of Drews relationship with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is going to spread anyway, and that will leave Ned on the hook looking like the bad guy for destroying his family.
Expect Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott), and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to read him the riot act when all is said and done.
GH Spoilers Hint Cain Quartermaine Takes The Deal
In the meantime, Ned will do his best to negotiate getting exactly what he wants from Drew without any hassle.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could become a problem in this situation because it wont make any sense to him that Drew would suddenly comply with Neds wishes or drop out of the family business altogether.
If Michael starts digging for the truth about how Ned got Drew to capitulate, hes not going to like the answer he finds. Further, because it worked and Ned got Drew to stand down, itll only make Neds theory about Drew and Willow sound that much more plausible.
General Hospital Spoilers The Truth Springs A Leak
Lending credibility to Neds theory based on James Wests (Gary James Fuller) utterance that Willow told Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) she feels guilty about kissing Drew is going to be the least of Drew and Willows worries soon.
When Elaine produces proof of their torrid affair, Ned would do well to make sure it never goes beyond his own possession.
That may not be the case with so many rambunctious kids crawling all over the estate and other people sticking their noses into his business. If Elaines proof is unearthed, all bets are off for Michael and Willow, ELQ, and especially Drews career in politics.
Nothing says honest man like a guy who is pursuing his nephews wife who is near-decades his junior. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
