A leaked document has been making the rounds online sharing MrBeast‘s keys to success.
The 26-year-old YouTuber, real name Jimmy Donaldson, created a 36-page guide. Inside, MrBeast shared how to do well on YouTube, how to thrive in his company, and shared his business philosophy.
His tips are definitely of interest, as he’s the site’s top creator that has more than 317 million followers. He’s known for his wild videos and even ventured into the snack world with his company, Feastables.

In the document, MrBeast wrote that he hired workers who were “obsessive” about their work and owned their successes and failures. The content creator wanted creative people who could save money and be efficient.

One of the creator’s “secret weapons,” was that the company wasn’t “stuck in any old ways of thinking and you can literally turn anything into content.”
While he offered tips, the document also cautioned staff not to take everything so literally. “What we do is complex and changes based on the situation,” he wrote.
“I need you to repeat this in your head three times: ‘I will apply everything I read with a grain of salt,'” it continued.
Business Insider verified the document with two former staffers, but could not confirm when it was written. The former staffers were anonymous but shared if the company practiced what it preached.
One former worker said that the ideas mentioned in the guide “ran rampant” and were repeated verbatim by the staff. Another mentioned that they thought the steps one should follow to get promoted weren’t really applied. MrBeast reportedly hated corporate bottlenecks, but he was sometimes the bottleneck for certain tasks.
Amid this MrBeast has faced a lot of controversy lately. Recently he listed a job posting on LinkedIn for an AI concept artist and people online were not happy.
The job listing described that the employee would be “developing concepts for a variety of video ideas” and “utilizing tools such as AI to streamline and enhance the creative process” in their role. In response, one social media user on X, formally known as Twitter wrote: “Why tf is he HIRING for ai garbage. You just put in a promt to recieve the garbage. Why pay someone for doing nothing when he can pay for real art [sic].”
