Rapper, actor, and film producer 50 Cent has announced that he is collaborating with Netflix to produce a documentary about the sexual scandal involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The sexual scandal involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs continues to capture the attention of the American public, as he is one of the most powerful musicians in the country, and his controversy is believed to involve numerous celebrities.
While Diddy remains in custody, rapper 50 Cent has announced that he is producing a documentary about the sexual scandal surrounding the three-time Grammy-winning artist. On September 25, a representative for the ‘In Da Club’ artist confirmed this information to PEOPLE.
‘The documentary addresses a story that impacts many people and is a complex narrative spanning decades, rather than just headlines or clips that have been released to date…
While the allegations are indeed troubling, we want people to remember that Sean Combs’s actions do not define the entire story of hip-hop culture,’ the producer’s representative shared in a statement to PEOPLE.

Netflix has revealed that the documentary project about Diddy has been in development since the beginning of the year, though a release date has yet to be set. In May, Deadline reported that 50 Cent confirmed Netflix won the rights to produce the film about Diddy.
The rapper has never hesitated to express his discomfort with Diddy. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter on July 31, 50 Cent explained why he had not attended any parties hosted by Diddy over the years, citing past experiences that made him feel uneasy.
Just a short while ago, 50 Cent shared a photo of a Variety headline announcing his film about Diddy, along with the caption: ‘I told you all that I don’t attend Diddy’s parties, but you didn’t believe me. Now I’m going to make you believe.’
Diddy, the hip-hop mogul, was arrested while staying at a hotel in Manhattan, just one day before the indictment against the 55-year-old rapper was publicly announced on September 17.
He faces allegations of sex trafficking related to the sexual parties he hosted, which involved numerous celebrities. Diddy is currently being held at the Brooklyn detention center after being denied bail twice and is scheduled to appear in court in early October.”
