Hugh Jackman joined Martha Stewart in roasting his friend Ryan Reynolds after the cookbook author claimed Reynolds was “not so funny” in person.
After the “Deadpool” star reacted to the 83-year-old’s claims that he isn’t as comedic as many think, Jackman replied to Reynolds’ tweet on Saturday.
“Finally someone says it,” the 56-year-old — who co-starred in “Deadpool & Wolverine” alongside Reynolds — wrote.
On Friday, the father of four replied to a tweet posted by Pop Crave, proudly disagreeing with Stewart’s statement on his sense of humor.
“I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry,” Reynolds wrote, before adding, “She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”
Last week, the “Martha Stewart Living” alum appeared on Bilt Rewards’ November “Rent Free” game show and was asked to guess who respondents listed as the most fun celebrities to hang out with.
“He’s probably on the list just ’cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face,” she said, before adding, “Ryan Reynolds is he one of those?”
Stewart didn’t hold back on letting viewers in on her opinion about her neighbor.
“You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” the TV personality added. “No, he’s not so funny.”
She also claimed that Blake Lively’s husband was “very serious.”
Later in the game show, Stewart guessed that actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney were also included in the list of celebrities. However, they were not.
“I’d like to hang out with those guys,” she admitted, adding, “George is really nice to hang out with.”
Many of Reynolds’ fans took to the comments under the tweet to react to Stewart’s remarks.
