Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has claimed he caught Noel Gallagher in the audience at his brother Liam’s concert. The culinary star, 49, disclosed his experience seeing Liam alongside John Squire from the Stone Roses in Kentish Town last year.

Attending one of Liam’s nostalgic Definitely Maybe 25th-anniversary shows, Jamie was convinced he spotted Noel, despite the well-documented rift between the two brothers.

Appearing on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 breakfast show, Jamie exclaimed: “I saw the Definitely Maybe 25 years gig and I saw Noel in a box and no one believed me! And I saw him! How could he be there if it wasn’t [the reunion] going to happen?”

Speculation among fans about the relationship between the feuding Gallagher siblings has been rife, especially since they hadn’t apparently spoken in 15 years before their sudden reunion announcement earlier this month. Even after the shock revelation of their comeback, the rockstar brothers have not been spotted together, leading some fans to wonder about the state of their partnership.

Furthermore, skepticism grew when an image circulated for the reunion seemed manipulated, showing Noel to be taller than Liam, which isn’t the case in reality. Echoing the buzz surrounding ’90s music nostalgia on BBC Radio 2 today, food maven and Oasis enthusiast Jamie reminisced about times when his former neighbor Liam would demand a bacon sandwich after a night out at the pub, reports the Mirror.

Zoe inquired: “Is the story that Liam Gallagher waking him up by shouting outside his house asking for a bacon sandwich true?”

Jamie replied, recounting the amusing incident: “He did. He said ‘give us a bacon sarnie’ though the letterbox. I leant out and said ‘Dude,’ Poppy and Daisy were just born. I said ‘the kids are trying to sleep please!’ He used to hang out in the Holly Bush and he looked so cool. He’s such a character.”

Jamie’s story adds spice to the ongoing drama surrounding the ticket frenzy for next year’s much-anticipated Oasis reunion tour. Both Zoe and Jamie shared their disappointment at not being able to secure tickets for the extensive 19-gig UK and Ireland tour.

Over the past weekend, Liam’s frustrations boiled over as he lashed out against any “imposters” with tickets to the shows. In a fiery outburst on social media, he pledged to strip tickets from those he deems unworthy of the real fan label.

This controversy follows on the heels of some fans’ displeasure with his recent performance prior to Daniel Dubois’ stunning knockout win against Anthony Joshua.

At the recent event, while many fans showered him with cheers, not everyone was thrilled by his performance. Some fans even ventured onto social media to poke fun at how he performed.

But such jibes didn’t go down well with the usually vocal Liam, who made sure his feelings were known loud and clear. He lashed out on social media saying: “To all those S******* who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain’t real fans your just IMPOSTERS and if you do have tickets you wanna get rid off I’ll gladly take them off your hands we don’t want the likes of you at our concerts next year any way LF*****G.”

The eagerly-anticipated Oasis tour is set to commence next July. When announcing their comeback tour, the band stirred excitement with a statement that read: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
