Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs and 50 Cent’s feud started way before 50 starting lay into the Bad Boy mogul following the recent slew of allegations leveled against him.
As it turns out, Jennifer Lopez even inadvertently had a role in it. It was the music queen who originally suggested that the pair start working together, spurring Diddy to send calls 50 Cent’s way. “Jennifer is the one who told Puff to work with me … Jennifer was telling him ‘Yo, he is dope. Yo, work with him. Like he’s going to, it’s going to eventually it’s going to happen,'” 50 Cent said during an interview.
He further explained to the Hollywood Reporter that he was originally reluctant to give Diddy a shot, preferring to keep his distance. This came much to the anger of mother of his child, who pointed out that he really needed the money and didn’t understand why he’d turn down an opportunity like that.

Diddy and J.Lo were intertwined on a rollercoaster romance from 1999-2001, which definitely caught the attention of the media. The pair became a massive it-couple with J.Lo, reportedly, aiding in Diddy’s career.
The rapper currently faces a number of lawsuits which accused the rapper of, among other things, sexual assault. He “vehemently” denied the allegations, but apologized after a video of himself beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway surfaced.
As the allegations surfaced, 50 Cent jumped in to bash his former professional acquaintance. He made plenty of posts online and opened up about never having been that close to the star. In fact, 50 Cent revealed that he’s working on a documentary about Diddy with Netflix.
J.Lo has long since moved on from her time with Diddy. Now, she’s married to Ben Affleck with whom she shares a tumultuous two-decade long romance, which seems to have hit a stalemate. After all their ups and downs, rumors surfaced that the pair are actually heading for divorce.
Ben moved out of their marital home after securing his own bachelor pad, which only underscored the amount of time that the couple have been spending apart. Plus, some have noticed that their wedding bands are now often absent.
