Kanye West has been living in Tokyo for over a month as he secretly works on his new album in a ‘hunker down’ lifestyle, according to a report from a music journalist
Rapper Kanye West is said to be living a “upper-class homeless” lifestyle in Tokyo while working on his eagerly awaited new album, according to reports.
Music journalist Toure revealed in an interview with TMZ that West is residing in a hotel rather than a fixed abode.
Toure alleges that West, who recently made news for suing his security guard and launching his Vultures 2 album earlier this year, is crafting a self-produced solo album named Bully.
“[West] is hunkered down in his hotel room working on his next solo album ‘Bully,’ which will apparently be self-produced,” Toure reportedly said. Insiders close to West suggest he values the privacy Tokyo provides compared to Los Angeles, with fans respecting his personal space more.

Speculation about West’s relationship with his wife Bianca Censori has been fueled by his prolonged stay in Tokyo.
The pair were recently spotted shopping together, seemingly dispelling divorce rumors.
Recently, West’s former alleged Director of Intelligence anonymously sued the rapper for unpaid wages and emotional distress.
The plaintiff alleges West employed him as a campaign manager for his presidential run and later instructed him to investigate Censori and the Kardashian family.

The lawsuit claims West sought information on “criminal links” and potential sex trafficking related to his ex-wife’s family.
The plaintiff states he was directed to tail Censori without her awareness.
West has yet to publicly respond to these allegations or his current residence in Tokyo.
