Kanye West has announced his new album, ‘Bully’, and debuted the lead single from the record, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, during his listening event in China on Saturday (29.09.24).
Kanye West is dropping brand new music as the rapper announced his new album tiled ‘BULLY.’
The Bound 2 hitmaker, fresh off the heels of his ‘Vultures’ LP double drop featuring Ty Dolla $ign earlier this year, has given fans a tantalizing taste of his new sounds with his single ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ Kanye West showcased the track at his listening party held at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China, on September 28.
In a clip that’s got the internet on fire, Kanye announces to the crowd: “I got a new album coming out. The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.” Listeners were treated to Kanye’s signature style with soft, infectious beats coupled with introspective lyrics: “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”

Mike Dean, an old pal and frequent collaborator of the 47-year-old rap legend, hinted that the new tune might be a gem dug up from the ‘Donda’ sessions in 2021, leaving a comment on an Instagram post discussing the fresh release that read simply: “Donda leftover.”

Kanye then went to his Insta page mere hours after thrilling fans with his performance to drop an image from the event, captioned with a short but impactful “BULLY.” China welcomed back Kanye earlier this month for a landmark gig his first there in over a decade and a half as part of a promo run for ‘Vultures’ with Ty.
At a September 15th listen-fest, Kanye, known for hits like ‘Stronger’, spilled that he was cooking up new solo material and tested the waters with another track, ‘Preacher Man’. The hype is real, but when ‘Bully’ will actually hit remains a mystery, especially considering the unpredictability of Kanye’s recent release patterns.
The initial ‘Vultures’ album, which was delayed for months, finally dropped in February, while the follow-up was slated for 8 March but didn’t make it to streaming platforms until 3 August. Moreover, Kanye has hinted at albums like ‘TurboGrax16’, ‘Yandhi’, and ‘Love Everyone’ in the past, but none of these ever came to fruition as full-fledged records.
