The mystery behind Kate Cassidy’s sudden departure from Argentina, leaving her boyfriend, One Direction star Liam Payne, has come to light.

In the days leading up to his death, things reached a boiling point when a source told New York Post that their extended vacation to a “hostage situation” with Kate feeling increasingly confined as time dragged on. “It was becoming very unhealthy for everyone. She hoped he would follow her back to Miami,” disclosed the insider.
Initially, Kate and Liam had a brief five-day Latin American getaway on their itinerary, a stay which unexpectedly ballooned into two weeks, prompting disagreement. On social media, Kate expressed her impatience at being marooned in one spot, sharing with her followers that she “hated” such standstills and felt compelled to return to their home base in Florida.
