Matthew Broderick is shedding light on why he never joined his wife Sarah Jessica Parker on Sex and the City.
In a recent episode of This Life of Mine with James Corden on Sirius XM, the 62-year-old actor discussed his career and his marriage to the iconic Sex and the City star. Reflecting on the missed opportunities to appear on the beloved series, Broderick shared that while he was approached for roles, scheduling conflicts often got in the way.
“Whenever there was a part that I could do, I couldn’t do it is really all that happened,” he explained. He added that some roles, like playing a character with a less-than-flattering description, gave him pause. “But also sometimes, it was like, ‘Do you want to do two days as the premature ejaculator?’ And I’d be like, ‘You know, I don’t know, it’s just kind of embarrassing.’”
