The home that Matthew Perry died in has been sold a year after his death.
The Friends actor was found dead at his home in Pacific Palisades in California on October 28, 2023, at 54 years old. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiners Office said that Matthew died from “acute effects of ketamine, with drowning and coronary artery disease being listed as contributing factors.” Five people were charged in connection to his death: Matthews assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, Erik Fleming, Dr. Mark Chavez, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, and Jasveen Sangha, aka The Ketamine Queen, are the five who have been charged..

According to the Los Angeles Times, the 3,500-square-foot mansion was purchased by movie producer and real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian. Anita is based in Arizona and plans to use the property as a “vacation home.” The property sold for $8.55 million while the late actor bought the four-bedroom home back in 2020 for $6 million.
The property underwent renovations based on aerial footage like new roofing while the pool and hot tub remained intact. The home was built in 1965 and renovated in 2018 by the previous owners to have a more contemporary look. The home overlooks the Pacific coast through its floor and ceiling windows while it has a 0.37-acre lot of grass with a lawn and potted plants. The mansion also features a fire pit and a large garage.

Matthew later renovated the home by adding a pool and an alarm system. The pool had a Batman emblem that lit up at night and the jacuzzi also sparkled with colorful lights in the evening. The last picture he posted on his Instagram was of him in the hot tub, where he died. He captioned the post: “Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I’m Mattman.” Many fans have commented under the photo sending their condolences and still in disbelief after a year.
His love for Batman also extended to the interior, with another photo that he shared on Instagram was a sign that read: “BATMAN PLAYS PICKLEBALL.”
