Adele was moved to tears during her Las Vegas residency show when she spotted Celine Dion in the audience.
The 36 year old British superstar became emotional upon seeing the 56 year old Canadian icon at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, a venue originally built for Celine’s 2003 debut. A video of Adele bursting into tears upon spotting Celine has since gone viral on social media.
In the clip, the Easy on Me singer can be seen approaching Celine over a barrier. The two share an emotional hug amidst cheers from the audience and exclamations of “oh my God”.

Celine is then seen kissing Adele’s hand before sitting down and dabbing her teary eyes with a tissue. Dressed in all black, Adele addressed her fans: “Give it up for Miss Celine Dion.”, reports the Mirror.
The music legend stood up as fans cheered and expressed their excitement. Nasser, an audience member who captured the moment on his phone, told BBC News: “This truly felt like she was proudly handing the keys to Adele. And when Adele gave her that hug, everyone felt what they felt.”
Fans also took to social media to share their excitement. One fan wrote: “Tonight, the Queens met at the Palace.” Another added: “This is how you appreciate a legend! ” A third attendee exclaimed: “Cannot believe I was in the same room as Adele and Celine Dion are you KIDDING???!” A fourth commented: “This is incredible! You can tell by their emotions how much they love the respect each other. How amazing to have Celine there watching Adele in the venue that was built for her residency.”
Adele has opened up about a harrowing health scare that left her “partially deaf” due to a “rare water bacteria” that’s notoriously difficult to treat. The chart-topping singer described experiencing pain that was “worse than childbirth” during her stint in Munich this past August.

While performing at Caesars Palace, the mother of one shared her ordeal with fans, revealing: “I have an ear infection, which is pretty grim.”
“I have an ear infection, which is pretty grim. I’ve never had one before. It’s the most painful thing that’s ever, ever happened to me. It was worse than childbirth. It’s a rare water bacteria. It’s very hard to treat. I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days and they managed to give me one that started to work.”
